What is the Meaning of Life and what is your ideal person?

What is the meaning of life? My friends and I have argued about this for years and we never came up with a great definition. I personally believe that the meaning of life is to be happy. What about you? I think the best answer I've heard is to be satisfied. So, are you satisfied with your life? That is such a hard question to answer...

So how would you define what is your ideal person? I.E., what would you be if you can be ideal? Originally, I defined it as the Renaissance man - a person who is "T-shaped" and is very knowledgable in a broad range of topics. However, it has been brought to my attention that there's something even more important: The IDEAL person is someone who is kind-hearted. Everything else stems from that. I completely agree. As a matter of fact, I finally realized why I was never satisfied with myself - my definition of the ideal person was wrong... So if you got to be an ideal person, what kind of person would you be?

A 'meaning of life' Google Search served up your post and I just had to take the time to say that I love your brain...the world needs more people like you and your friends talking about what really matters in life. Bravo!

I can't share my "meaning" answer. (A promise I made when I published my book.) But I will share this bit of "wisdom": Your answer will change...maybe every day, every year, with every stage of your life. And that's ok...

As the saying goes, "It's the journey, not the destination". Just keep asking the question; the answers you receive in your heart will guide you along a wonderful path.

take care,
